FAQ’s

Question: Do I need an appointment?
Answer: If your child needs a form for school filled out, and they have not had a physical by the doctor in the last twelve months, an appointment must be scheduled in order to have the form completed. If your child is ill and you are not sure if he/she needs to come in, please call our office. A nurse will be happy to talk to you and schedule an appointment if needed.

Question: How often do I need to bring in my child?
Answer: The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the following timelines for physicals: Newborn, 2 weeks old, 2 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, then yearly.

For ongoing chronic conditions we require your child to be seen every six months in order to monitor their condition and refill any medications. Examples of this type of condition would be asthma, allergy, and ADHD visits.

Question: Is there a cost to copy my child’s medical records?
Answer: All About Kids Pediatrics does not fax or provide paper copies of records. Full medical records for every patient are available via the patient portal. Click Here to learn how to download your child’s records
